Michael Caines Collection Supporting Local Charities

The Michael Caines Collection will be supporting local charities and communities with the launch of a 50p discretionary charity donation charge on bills across its restaurant venues.

Mickeys Beach in Exmouth will be donating raised sums to the RNLI local hub, Sea Scouts Exmouth, the RSPB, Surfers Against Sewage and the Movember charity.

The Cove and The Harbourside Refuge Restaurants in Cornwall will be donating raised sums to RNLI local hubs, Fisherman’s Mission, Surfers Against Sewage and Sea Scouts Falmouth.

The nominated charities have been chosen as they are entrenched in our coastal communities and the Michael Caines Collection has many links: we source our fish from local seas and our staff get involved in fundraising events locally.

The Michael Caines Collection donated important funds to the RNLI in October 2022 following collections for the lifesaving charity at its venues. We are now expanding this fundraising for charities which are close to our hearts.

Michael Caines said, ‘I’m particularly conscious of our nominated charities’ important work locally. With our properties overlooking the River Exe and on the seafront, our coastal charities are an important logical choice. Movember is something our staff get involved with every year, so this is also an important charity to support. We look forward to raising more funds to support these vital causes further.’
