Falmouth Week is one of the busiest times of the year and this year, it intends to be even busier.
This highly anticipated event will be taking place between Friday 5th – Sunday 14th of August and there’ll be an abundance of live music, games, food stalls, fairground rides and more for all the family to enjoy.
Here’s some of the stuff we’re looking forward to!
Pink Wig Night
Pink Wig Night is back after 3 years of going MIA due to COVID. This event sees hundreds of locals and tourists alike rock a pink barnet all night long while partying until dawn. Kicking off at the Greenbank Hotel at 5pm, the evening begins with cocktails and music before moving to the Falmouth Week marquee to finish. Tickets start at £15 and are expected to sell fast so be sure to book yours!
Music on the Moor
Source FM has outdone themselves, having managed to source a number of talented musicians to play throughout the week. There’ll be an eclectic mix of music to suit all tastes and it’s a great opportunity for people to relax or get into the groove and boogie the night away on The Moor.
The Red Arrows
The iconic Red Arrows will be taking to the skies to bring you an incredible aerobatic display of agility and British engineering. Although it is weather-dependent (fingers crossed for sunshine and blue skies!), the Red Arrows never fail to disappoint, so peel your eyes away from your phone screen and get ready to feast your eyes on a truly spectacular performance.
Comic and Movie Fest
Ever wanted to meet your childhood heroes? Comic and Movie Fest organisers might be able to make it happen. Members of the True Butterflies Foundation will be fishing out their outfits and dressing up as your favourite characters from popular comics, TV shows and films. Get ready to pose with your favourite Disney princess!
